For visiting scholars
The Strathmartine Trust is named after the parish north of Dundee where Dr Cant's family originated.
In addition to offering study rooms and desks for local scholars, the Strathmartine Centre also has a fully-equipped self-contained flat for visiting scholars to use. The flat has its own bedroom, desk and bathroom with adequate storage space and power-points for laptops and electrical equipment. The flat can accommodate two people on two single beds.
Visiting scholars also have access to a fully equipped kitchen and common-room/dining area.
A night's stay in the flat costs £15, and length of stay depends on demand for the flat. The flat is very busy throughout the summer, so you are advised to contact the centre early in the year if you wish to stay during the summer months (E-Mail Strathmartine Trust).
